Pre Care
Avoid AHA’s, BHA’s and benzoyl peroxide for 5-7 days before
Avoid retinol use for 7-10 days before your appointment
Come to your appointment makeup free around area
Avoid tweezing in between appointments to ensure a desired effect from waxing
*If you have been prescribed the drug isotretinoin (accutane) within the last 12 months, waxing is not suitable.

Do not touch the area with unwashed hands, facial waxing leaves your skin more vulnerable to bacteria
Apply cool compress, or aloe vera to area
Avoid makeup for 24 hrs
Avoid sun exposure for 48 hrs

Pre Care
Exfoliate the skin 48 hrs prior to your appointment
Come with clean skin free of lotions
Avoid getting waxed during your time of the month (more painful)
Make sure the hair has been growing out for 4-6 weeks prior to your appointment

Avoid hot showers, baths, pools, and hot tubs
No exercise for 24 hrs post
No massages
Moisturize with aloe or fragrance-free lotions
Wear clean loose fitting clothes to avoid friction
Avoid sun exposure on the area for 24 hrs
Avoid intimacy 48 hrs after intimate waxing
Exfoliate 2 days post-treatment, and every other day after
Do not shave in between appointments
